LIHIT LAB.

We Strive to Create New Value

Since founded 1938, we have been striving to contribute to society through the development of office supplies for rationalization, labor-saving and modernization. We have been always aware of user’s needs and expanded business as one of stationery manufacturers in this information culture. In recent years, needs have diversified and individualized with the development of the information society and one of the most important things for today’s companies is how to adapt to changing market. We identify what should be changed and should not be changed to develop, and promote innovative changes.

Heritage of Innovation / Award-winning stationery since 1938.

Founded in Osaka in 1938, LIHIT LAB has over 85 years of experience crafting stationery and organisational products. From pioneering Japan's first coloured files in 1962 to today's ingeniously designed pen cases and notebooks, they have continually evolved whilst staying true to their roots as specialist makers. Their innovation is recognised year after year at Japan's most prestigious stationery awards — they have won the Japan Stationery Award (日本文具大賞) nine times in the past decade alone.

Function-First Design / Cleverly solving everyday problems.

Every LIHIT LAB product is designed around a real need. Standing pen cases that transform into desk-top pen pots. Open Ring Notebooks that let you carry only the pages you need. Bag-in-Bag organisers that move seamlessly between bags. Each detail is thoughtfully considered to keep your belongings tidy and accessible — and that commitment to practical, user-centred design has earned them a loyal following worldwide.

Personality & Joy / Practical stationery that brings a smile.

LIHIT LAB proves that functional does not have to mean dull. Series like PuniLabo — with its charming silicone animal characters — and Bloomin — with its elegant floral designs — bring genuine personality to your desk or pencil case. Their philosophy: good products should enrich not just how you work, but how you feel.
